EOE Position Information:
The Med Lab Scientist II performs routine and specialized laboratory tests and other procedures for use in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases.
Utilizes requisite equipment, instruments, and computer systems.
Evaluates and reports patient results using considerable independent judgment within the scope of established testing methods.
Updates knowledge, skills and applies appropriately.
Maintains age-specific and other required competencies.
Performs quality control procedures and contributes to the maintenance of the laboratory, equipment, and supplies.
Assists in the development and implementation of new procedures, instrumentation, etc.
May assume responsibility for one or more laboratory projects or functions - i.
e.
PI, safety, quality control, regulatory, administrative, staff development, computer (LIS, HIS, hospital intranet, PC applications), etc.
Trains new employees and/or students in the theoretical and operational aspects of procedures and evaluates their work.
Acts as a resource for less experienced co-workers.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Works both independently and as part of a team with general supervision/periodic review by supervisory staff.
Experience Requirements:
2 Years Clinical - Clinical Laboratory - Moderate and High Complexity Testing Preferred Education Required:
Associate's Degree Medical Laboratory Technology Required - And Bachelor's Degree Clinical Laboratory Science Or Bachelor's Degree Medical Technology PreferredLicensure/Certification Requirements:
And National Credentialing Agency for Laboratory Personnel Certification Required Hours of Work:
Monday through Friday day shift with rotational weekends and holidays Weekend Requirements:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
