Business Systems Analyst II - Small Business Administration

Overview:

This position will primarily supports the Merchant Services Department which is expanding its footprint along with other business areas as needed based on enterprise objectives and goals. Ideal candidate will have experience working in support of loan origination and/or loan servicing systems working with both users and technical staff in team-oriented environment. Ideal candidate will assess research, analyze, and document requirements based on banks SDLC guidelines from stakeholders as needed. Understand downstream impacts of any system changes and work with downstream partners to ensure seamless changes. Participate actively to resolve issues/defects and identify root causes that may arise. Work with Vendors to ensure all updates and enhancements are applied in a timely manner along with ensuring that the necessary documentation is maintained for audit and IT Compliance.


Responsibilities:
  • Identifying Requirements - Works with internal stakeholders to help define requirements and communicates them using specifications, reports, project plans, or other forms of documentation. As the primary interface between the Business and Technology you will be required to analyze and validate published Business Requirements to be converted to system requirements allowing development by the development teams. Finally participate in testing of developed solutions to help ensure successful implementation.
  • Communications - Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences across the organization. Will help facilitate various meetings as per project manager guidance during projects. In addition, you will be responsible for regular communications with business units you support.
  • System Support - Provides daily technical support for systems by responding to inquiries, ensuring processes run smoothly, and working to continuously improve the end-user experience. Assists in implementing recommended modifications and enhancements.
  • Data Analysis - Sources, compiles, and interprets data. Analyzes data for accuracy and efficiencies, effectively communicates analysis output.
  • Reporting - Produces reports based on data analysis, user input, and system testing. Identifies patterns, discrepancies, and areas of improvement.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience in Systems Support, or Analytics, or Operational Support OR High School Diploma or GED and 6 years of experience in Systems Support, or Analytics, or Operational Support
Preferred: Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Business/Systems Analysis or High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Business/Systems Analysis

Desired Skills: Required Applications: Microsoft Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint, Project.


Plus skill: Experience with database reporting tools such as PowerBi, DB Visualizer, SQL Server Management Studio.


Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
